Who is Dick Evans

Rev Richard (Dick) Evans is a born-again spirit-filled follower of Jesus Christ on fire for the Lord teaching others about the authority and power they have as believers. He is an Ordained Minister, Healing Evangelist, Missionary, Writer, and Pastor to those who are involved with The Evans Ministries. He is a life member of the Full Gospel Businessmen’s Fellowship International and President of the local chapter in Port Charlotte, FL. And he has authored a number of books. His most recent ones are the Healing Discipleship Guidebook and The Simple Gospel Of Jesus Christ.

He grew up in Rhode Island and graduated from Bryant University. Dick's Biblical studies were completed at International Seminary in Florida. He was schooled in spiritual gifts through International Miracle Institute, also in Florida.

Dick began a career in Banking in the 1960s that eventually led him to start a computer consulting business in 1976. In addition to the consulting business, Dick was on the faculty at Rhode Island College teaching in the School of Management until his retirement from secular work in 2009.

Dick is married to Sherri and they have a blended family with eight children, and many grandchildren and greats. They minister daily in the marketplace as the Holy Spirit leads and at churches and Christian organizations around the country, bringing a message of healing, deliverance, and reconciliation to the body of Christ. When he speaks, Dick shares how he got to know Jesus and the changes the Holy Spirit has made in his day-to-day life. He tells about some of the miraculous ways Jesus has used him to touch others. As Dick shares his experiences, the resurrection power of Jesus Christ touches others with signs, wonders, and changing lifestyles. You will find the Holy Spirit guiding him and equipping the believer as he explains spiritual truths.

His vision is to equip others for life. This is accomplished on an individual basis, in group settings, at local gatherings, and through Healing Workshops. He is on the move for God. As he steps out doing what the Father asks of him, God shows up and signs and wonders occur.
